I have had a couple of people ask about training in the 8 inch guns on the cruiser. If anyone want's to learn land mode (destroying land objects) and sea mode (destroying ships) please let me know. Base capture with 8 inch is alot quicker with good gunnery skills. Best Regards. CaptMerc.

Excellent idea Merc! You really are good at it too, might want to do a class that includes sea to sea gunnery in addition to the leveling of enemy towns. Jake do you want to do this on a Wed squad night training session in a couple of weeks?

Great Idea!! Poll the guys for when they want it. I'm on travel until 13 Feb. Sneaking a CV in close to base without having someone launch from it is the problem. But yes, 3 good gunners on a broadside levels a town quick.

Way to step up Merc!
Knowing how to use CV guns properly will help us take bases more efficiently from them. Not upping from a CV until the last possible moment so as not to alert the enemy is also important IMO. Once it is time to launch, a few heavy fighters should be assigned to finish town and kill ord. LVT's will immediately flash the base once they launch BTW but does not mean fighters need to go with them unless necessary since LVT's travel 8 mph on water.... 25 on land.
I'm sure we can come up with a plan for this that can be added into our play book.
