Sound advise Empty
PostSubject: Sound advise   Sound advise Empty1/12/2009, 11:15 pm

If you don't have a sound pack your missing out on a whole lotta stuff. I would suggest visiting the HTC Forums and downloading a couple of sound packs. http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php?board=71.0

From ther you can mix and match what ya like into it. I have been messing with sounds for awhile and have a few I'd like to share with you all.

One has a P51D file in it. It does not have an engine so if you use it put yours in. You'll find that I have timed the eng start, gear up/dn and eng off perfectly. There is two cool rocket sounds to chose from. If you like rocket2 better just rename it rocket after you rename the original something else (3-4 A or B) The wind is very important but I forgot to add the stress in that folder which goes with wind. It'll still work for ya.

The Hit sounds you can use for all planes, I think you'll like them.(just drag and drop in the main sound area)
Same thing goes for the explode sound. Scrape has 2 versions. One you will hear the laugh timed perfectly for when you stop and the other you won't unless you travel down a hill or slide in fast with a bomber.

GUN PACKS are good. Just open one and put in one of your planes with 50's. If you like one better than the other use it for all your 50's.

Drag and drop them into the main folder or you could put them in a plane you normally use just to check them out and move them later. I've put some time into them so do me a favor and at least check them out. You will like them I promise.

I have plenty more no one else has.

Thanks for the update. I am tinkering with mine off and on when I get tired of a sound. It really is like a completly different game when you change the sounds.
