Skuzzy says to force Vertical Sync ON to stop rubber bullets. This can be found in your video settings.

It works!

Wobble, disabling V-sync is a bad thing for AH. Disabling V-Sync just gets you lost frame display information, especially if your monitor is slow and your CPU is fast. IN AH, this leads to jumpy planes, rubber bullets, jerky motions and a plethora of other video related anomalies.

You really do not want to disable v-sync. It has the potential of causing problems in Aces High (i.e. rubber bullets,..missed targets,....).

I would love to change the world, but I do not have access to the source code.

Do not sweat it dsfire. Sounds like you have vsync enabled which you want in this game. Those people reporting high frame rates maybe running vsync off, in which case, they are more likely to suffer from the "rubber bullet" syndrome.

AC97 audio devices have zero hardware to support soud playback. It is all handled by the CPU. Custom sounds all use high sample rate files which place a much higher burden on the CPU than the stock sounds do.

It can have a negative effect on gameplay in several ways. Rubber bullets, warps, stutters, connection isses and so on.

I cringe everytime I see someone using a custom sound pack with an AC97 or onboard sound device. The worst ones are the ones who claim it causes no problems. It cannot help but cause issues. It is the nature of how things works.

Another fix is to right click on your speaker icon next to clock, choose Adjust audio Properties, Click on Audio then the advanced button in playback, then performance and move slider to 3/4 hardware acceleration. This will solve a lot of probs and help increase frames because it lessens load on CPU if you do not have a sound card.

No, they are found either in your bios (hit f10,delete or whatever you puter tells you to at start up to access the Bios)

Or if you have a program that came with your card and drivers access it from there.
